Colombo, Jun 19 (AdaDerana): Sri Lankan Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation said that the Indian government has provided financial assistance of US$45 million for the development of Kankesanthurai Port (KKS ).
Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva said that as a result, Kankesanthurai port should be developed quickly.

The Ministry of Finance of Sri Lanka and the Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) signed an agreement in this regard in January 2018.
