Main objective and function of the position:
- Lead the Sales and Marketing function for the Brewery.
- Serve as a backup for Dir. operations
Main objective and function of the position:
- Lead the efforts of the Sales and Marketing department to achieve all sales related goals including volume, sharing, distribution, storage space, etc.
- Take ownership of the brand and deliver the vision, mission, goals and strategies of Celis Brewing Co.
- Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitor activities to identify key opportunities and issues.
- Manage and improve communication and process relationships with internal stakeholders and determine the best brand program strategies for each channel.
- Manage program performance by focusing on delivering key volume and share metrics within budget. Analyze return on investment (ROI) and provide strategic direction on program design going forward.
- Select and retain a diverse and highly functional sales and marketing team.
- Develop sales forecasts for volume budgets, monthly projections, year-end projections and other statistical and marketing reports for the property.
- Ensure compliance with all legal guidelines.
- Maintain the frequency of retail calls.
- Develop and monitor sales and marketing expense budgets in collaboration with the Director of Operations. Monitor and approve all expenses and complete monthly variance reports.
Basic requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Higher diploma preferably.
- 5 years of sales / marketing experience preferably in the beer or consumer products industry
- 3 years of experience in sales management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong internal and external customer orientation
- Knowledge of budget development and management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws
- Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work overtime, if required.
- Excellent strategic analysis and critical thinking skills
- Professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Strong negotiation skills
