Ella S. Briggs LUDLOW – Ella Sylvia Briggs, 91, died Wednesday morning, March 31, 2021, in Springfield Hospital. She was born February 23, 1930 within the Bronx, New York, daughter of Eric and Taimi (Kangas) Northland. She attended Chester Faculties and graduated from Chester Excessive College. In 1948, she married Richard Briggs; he predeceased her in 2011. Ella was a mom and housewife. She has labored at Jewel Brook Woolen Mill, Fox Run Resort and Okemo Mountain. She additionally did cafeteria and cleansing providers for Okemo Mountain and the American Legion Publish 36. She was president of the American Legion Auxiliary Publish 36 for 9 years and a member of the board of administrators of Black River Good Neighbors for six years. She has been a member of Rebekahs Lodge 32 in Springfield, VFW Auxiliary, Vermont-American Finnish Society, 8 and 40 Salon 120, Black River Senior Middle Board of Trustees, and Alumni Hospital volunteer. fighters from White River Junction, Vermont. She is survived by one son, Richard Briggs (Cheryl) of North Adams, Massachusetts; two daughters, Sylvia Buswell (Don) of Ludlow and Sandra Briggs, additionally of Ludlow; 4 grandchildren, Justin Buswell, Brent Buswell, Keith Briggs and Robin Briggs; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Neil Briggs and grandson Nathan Buswell. A funeral service might be held at Nice View Cemetery in Ludlow at a later date and might be introduced at the moment.
